MORNING:

I love to start my mornings with a cup of black coffee and usually spend about 10 minutes with my notebook, jotting down blog ideas and writing my daily to-do-list. No two days are the same for me so my routine usually depends on what’s going on that day. My morning skincare usually consists of Cetaphil’s Daily Facial Cleanser, which is a light, fresh, face wash that awakes my skin. I adore French brands; my current serum is by Caudalie – it’s strong in anti-oxidants, which protect my skin against free radicals. Eye cream is a necessity and I’m currently loving Caudalie’s Premier Cru, which I follow up with face cream – Chantecaille’s Flower Harmonizing Cream is so luxurious on the skin and smells amazing!

I vary my make-up on a daily basis, there are days where I barely have time to apply anything and then there are days I go full force. My typical spring go-to consists of MAC’s Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Primer, which I find holds my base put throughout the day and gives my skin a gorgeous dewy finish. I like my foundation light but with the option to build up coverage, my favourite for this is NARS Sheer Glow. To conceal dark circles, I opt for MAC’s Highlighter Pen in Bright Forecast – it adds instant light and detracts from darkness.

I love peach cheeks for spring and one of my most reached for blushers is Tarte’s Fearless, it works so well with my skin tone and adds a natural flush of colour. Highlighting is an absolute MUST for me and my holy grail has to be Kevyn Aucoin’s Celestial Powder, it instantly wakes up my skin and adds radiance. I like warm neutral tones on my eyes and I’ve been loving the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette for its great mix of matte and shimmer shadows. My eyeliner of the moment is L’Oreal’s Super Liner Super Slim, which has a super fine pen nib, perfect for creating a feline flick. On bright lip days I adore Tom Ford’s Wild Ginger, but my most reached for nude lip option is MAC’s Modesty.

NOON:

During the day, I rarely touch up or reapply make-up, but I sometimes carry around a powder or blotting sheets to eliminate any oiliness on my skin. I also like to carry around a facial mist – current fave by thisworks – these are great at adding hydration and refreshing the skin with or without make-up. Hand cream is another handbag/desk essential, my favourite right now is the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanillé – it smells incredible.

NIGHT:

The evenings are my favourite time to unwind and really enjoy my products. I cleanse on a daily basis with Emma Hardie’s Moringa Balm, which has been a go-to for years, it does it all – cleanses, tones and moisturises! I sometimes like to exfoliate in the evenings where I use my Kate Somerville Exfolikate. I find it hard to sleep at night so after my evening shower or bath – I usually use Aromatherapy Associates‘ heavenly bath and shower oils – I apply the thisworks deep sleep night oil to my body and spritz Rituals’ Yin over my sheets. Before bed, I’ll reapply my serum and smother my skin in Tarte’s Pure Maracuja Oil – it’s absolutely gorgeous, I wake up with seriously hydrated, radiant skin. Finally, I’ll pop on some of Nuxe’s Reve de Miel lip balm which is extremely nourishing. Then it’s lights out and night night!
